She pairs this fierce determination with genuine kindness toward everyone around her. It is our honor to recognize Grace Gonzalez as Troy’s Dorey Madrid Courage Award.
Congratulations to Sophia, not only was she selected as Scholar Athlete but she was also recognized tonight as a Valedictorian! A testament that Troy Warriors can really do it all. It wasn’t easy but it was worth it!

Recognized as a competitor who stands as one of the greatest players I have ever had the privilege to coach and as one of the most decorated athletes in Troy football history, he was an All-CIF selection as well as a League and Team MVP. He combined his physical talents with an unwavering commitment to the core values of hard work, humility, unity, and pride. He leaves a lasting legacy of excellence. We are honored to present Ethan Mundt as the Troy’s Male Athlete of the year.

She is a truly talented and fierce competitor who brought an absolute fire to our team every single time she entered the athletic arena. Beyond her skills, she played a massive role in completely reshaping our team culture from the ground up. Thanks to her heart and leadership, she brought a deep sense of pride back to this program that will be felt for years to come. It is our honor to announce Sydney Bergerson as our Female athlete of the year.

In track, cheer and stunt she defines excellence in everything she does. She is a dedicated leader who balances rigorous academics with athletic talent while always remaining kind to those around her. She maximizes every moment on the track, sideline and gym, showcasing a relentless drive to do whatever is necessary to achieve the results she desires. She will continue her academic journey at UCLA this fall. We are proud to honor Sophia Timoshuk as Troy’s female scholar athlete of the year.
